The Sorrento Lemon
The lemon on the slopes above town is the ovale di Sorrento, protected as Limone di Sorrento IGP: thick perfumed rind, low acid, and grown under pergolas of chestnut poles that hold the frost off in February. It is the rind that makes limoncello, never the juice, which is why a grove visit ends with a cold glass and a jar of marmalade rather than lemonade.

Marina Grande
The town sits on a shelf of tufa with a sheer drop to the water, so its fishing village is a separate place reached by steps: a curve of painted houses, nets on the quay and kitchens that cook whatever came in that morning. The Path of the Gods
The Sentiero degli Dei runs the ridge from Bomerano to Nocelle at around five hundred metres, with Positano directly below and Capri sitting on the horizon all afternoon. It is a walk rather than a climb, but it finishes with roughly fifteen hundred steps down into Positano, and the guided days from Sorrento carry the transfers at both ends.
